Hi All,

Firstly Happy New Year...

Been looking at the members cars and they look amazing...

I'm after some help and guidance...

I have a Leon TDi FR+ in Emocion Red and have no mods on it at all...

I'm after suggestions to what to do to it...

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated...

Thanks and hope to speak soon...

Dave

Welcome Dave, Happy new year :)

What do you want from the car is going to be the first question?

If looks... consider lowering it and adding some new bigger wheels
If power... consider a remap
If handling... consider lowering it and changing anti-roll bars
If ICE... well, upgrade the ICE

What is it about the car that you would like to change? Go on, be picky ;)

Some simple mods that everybody benefits from, are...

Change the rear wiper to the Skoda Fabia wiper. It looks and works much better.
Add the sunglasses holder from the VW Golf et el.
Add a Honda Sport (Civic, S2000) aerial
Change headlights bulbs or, even better, upgrade to a HID kit.

There is loads and loads of information on the forum already about everything I have mentioned, so pick a subject and do a search :)

Cheers for that Rob...

So much to consider...

Think I'm looking to do a bit of everything so can see me reading through all the forums...

Think the first things I'm probably going to look to do are the Fabia rear wiper and the aerial replacement...

Cheers

Dave :D

The best thing to do is read as much as you can and try and apply the advice you read to your driving style and habits. I mean, if you spend 75% of your time on a motorway, a full on coilover kit might not be a great choice, whereas a remap would be. There are loads of things to spend your money on, that's for sure, the trouble comes in prioritising them and resisting the urge to sign up for every credit card deal going

Welcome.

Nice car, shame about the colour though ;)

I'm planning a remap as the first big mod for mine, although want to find one with the least chance of clutch slip possible :(

Luckily enough I have a friend who works at my local Skoda dealer so he has managed to order the Fabia kit and the sunglasses kit with his discount (Not got the price yet from him...)

The aerial I have just bought from Ebay...
