mmm....the MG has to go....so new 1.9tdi ibiza arrives thursday....standard alana HU...4x20w...mmm...bit different to my kenwood...which has to go along with the part x car

have kenwood cd changer, i guess redundant now...

ive searched and googled my dim brains out and got myself a bit befuddled with what i can do with what, how and where.

what i would like is a decent HU straight swap with the alana 'thing'; to go with a cd changer, and to keep my steering wheel controls...thats all

you guys have any ideas?

my budget is....er.....flexible....

I think you can get steering wheel adaptors although they aren't cheap, and are dependent on the HU. I know people have done it with Becker and Alpine HUs.

The standard unit is a simple straight swap, and a cd changed is dependent on the HU obviously but I'm convinced all those jobs can be done relatively easily.

You get what you pay for with ICE - I reckon a couple of hundred could get you a HU, changed and adaptor but obviously the more you spend, the better quality you get.
