New Flywheel

Thought i'd post up a couple of pics of my lightened flywheel

It's a standard VW 228mm job which now weights just over 6 kgs

Very impressed with the quality of the work, it looks almost factory

Just got to sort out a suitable clutch and diff now

how much was the flywheel if u dont mind me asking? is it the 228mm g60 style one from vw?

it's a genuine 228mm VW flywheel i got it for cost price through my local Seat dealer

looking forward to getting it fitted up and seeing the difference it makes

TBH, I didn't notice ant difference on my car. I think the larger size of the VR6 clutch kit offsets it a bit.
Not sure of the overall weight saving between OEM and G60/VR6 combo. I probably should have run some logs before and after.
