Scanned my car for faults and got the folowing

18010 - Power Supply Terminal 30 : Voltage too low
P1602 - 35 -10 - Intermittent

Is this one to do with the battery? Ive just had a brand new battery fitted and its puzzling me:shrug:

17964 - Charge Pressure Control : Negative Deviation
P1556 - 35 - 10 Intermittent

Does this sound like it could be to with the N75 valve?

16486 - Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70) : Signal too low

Im 99% sure this is a duff MAF (Again[:@])

Any advice on the 1st 2 faults would be great. Cars just had a full service, new battery and new fuse box.

1st code is prob because your battery got changed, clear the codes go for a drive and see if it comes back

2nd code is your car isnt meeting the requested boost, possible boost leak?? you checked your plumbing?? faulty dv??

I would say that the first fault was due to the battery, perhaps when they took the old one off, it threw up the code. I have heard of this before. (Or when changing the fuse box

For fault 2 http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/17964/P1556/005462

The 16486 fault is definitely the Maf, of wiring to and from it, although, it might be worth clearing that one and seeing if it returns as it could be from the battery and F/B change again.

Yeah cleared the codes but the negative deviation keeps coming back. Ive checked for boost leaks and nothing. Car made 203bhp on the rollers recently with the negative deviation fault. Power made seemed right for the mods I have. (ko3, TIP, Dynatwist, split r & remap)

Im getting a FMIC from forge soon and Im gonna get them to check the DV. I run the split r valve and have played about with it so much trying to get it to 'whoosh'. No matter what I do the only noise it makes is a chatter. Ive spoken with Forge before but only on e-mail so Im gonna let them hear it for real when I take it and see what they say.

You reckon that could be whats doing it? My valav has never whooshed properly but some people have said that its just the characteristics of the split r and nothing to worry about.

As for the 3rd fault, new MAF is on order

dont order a new maf just yet, log it first, i think you just need to clean your electric connector going to it

sounds like possible DV fault then if your getting chatter as well, you tried with your oe one?? you still get the code?? anyone local borrow you a 007 to try just to rule out dv?

My G/F has the 007 on her cupra but shes away on a Spa weekend till sunday night. She also has the negative deviation showing on hers as well:lol:

Its all weird though becuase the car still seems fine to drive, it pulls well through the gears and plenty of torque steer.

I would of thought these faults may affect the performance of the car?

I cant get on vagcom cos my laptop is dead, its got some sort of virus on it:cry:

Bit of a pain in the arse really

Yeah battery one should be gone for good now (hopefully). The negative deviation one keeps coming back.
