Pressed plates (from Dubmeister) colour coded wing mirror surrounds, vinyl roof - just a few other ideas.

You can post pictures after 25 posts. You need to host them on something like photobucket 1st and paste the img codes in. Would be nice to see what it looks like, I have 1 picture of how my car was when I bought it and its tiny ! Wouldve been an idea to take a few more so I had a comparism to how it is now.

im thinking of tinting the back windows, smoking all the lights (film or paint?), xenon/led bulbs all round if possible, audi r8 led strip things, and maybe debadge, o and a new radio cause the one that came with it was fooked

I tinted my tailights with spray and they came up quite nice. Not sure about film though as they are plastic lenses and the film tends to peel off. I would avoid the audi led's as they really dont suit the style of the car and can look a little 'chav' because of the square headlights ? Tints are always a good way forward and as your car is a dark colour I wouldnt go too dark as it may look like a van if its just rears. Also some insurance companies require you to declare tints.

The insurance co.s say all non standard mods should be declared even down to not using SEAT parts like the exhausts, wheels, badges etc. which seems a bit harsh. You only have to ask your broker what is permmited though. I can't say that tinting your lights is a good idea as it reduces your visibility to be seen by other road users and an insurance co. might take umbrage with you if another driver failed to see you and had a collision.

That's why I'm going to get xenon or led lamps to make the tint less effective on the actual light output
