Not sure what to get later this year, either wait for the new cupra or go for the Ford Focus ST which looks really nice
Any opinions ???

Yeah. Wait for the Cupra. Much better looking IMHO and faster too. Will probably be slightly more expensive though...

The Focus ST seems to be selling very well as not a day passes without seeing 2 or 3 orange ones on the road. The Cupra may be a rarer sight....

get the cupra mate it'll be a head turner (the st's more of a hot family car) and it's got the sucess of the btcc image behid it plus will be faster than the st and rarer.

I picked up my ST in March and so far I'm not regretting straying from the VAG fold given what was available at the time. I might go hassle my local Seat dealer when the new Leon Cupra comes out to see whether they're going to have one in though.

I'll wait for the cupra, these days I have to fit a pram in, not sure whether the new cupra will be up to the job, still I'll tell the wife its fine and this will give me the licence to get a new one :)

Thanks

ronnie (hi its mr pink from the ffoc ;) do you not like the st2 then? or do you just think the cupra will be a bit more special? (interested to know as nearly went for the st myself and then woke up to the running costs with me doing 500+ miles a week lol) i love the leon btw and is certainly a step up from the tdci sport :D and a great forum to go with it as well

i have to say the focus i had was quite fun (you could chuck it around nicely) but the leon seems more grown up and better built.
so do you have st's at work? not bad work cars if you do but i think it says a lot about the st.

Starting to see too many ST's on the road and still feel they look a little dull, they are a cracking drive but being ford there will be one on every street corner!!

Leon Cupra loks like a stormer, I like the new FR as well a worthy replacment for the old Cura/FR IMO

I think the Cupra is going to be a much rarer sight than the ST as there are far fewer company car schemes that offer Seats.

Can't wait to see it!!! Just wish that I coudl afford one. I'm going to have to wait until they're at least a couple of years old...
