New Cupra 300 coming

Morning all

Just put a deposit on a 2018 Leon Cupra Estate Manual (one of the last manual estates).

Really looking forward to it! I’ve had a Mk3 Leon 1.6 tdi, which is great, but underpowered. This should fix that problem for sure!

The tdi Leon I had was a DSG, really just a change to self shift (and to keep the wife happy, she hates autos for some reason......)

How do you find a manual after having a DSG?

Takes a small bit of getting used to to get the gear changes fast and smooth again but the dsg is obviously a lot faster at changing..but it is good fun using a manual again...and its rare enough in the 300 too...I think

Spent Saturday night looking at Cupra 300 videos, It looks as if even the front wheel drive models will give a Golf R a run for its money! Looking forward even more to getting it now!

You'll bloody love it! I went from a Golf R-line 1.6tdi (same engine) to my Cupra 300 DSG. Absolutely adore it!

Good work, i'm just about to order a DSG 290 on the basis that i've had a manual for 14 years and after test driving the new 290 it was very good but still felt a little disconnected from having a manual but it was still a lot of fun!

if you're near by any of the local meets we have coming up you should pop by with the new motor

Loving my new Cupra 300. Just had it detailed and protected with paint sealant. Looks awesome! Not that it’ll last long looking this clean!
