While on my way home from from crail earlier this evening i experience a few problems. I was driving along in 5th at around 2-3k rpm and put the foot down slowly, the car seemed to overboost and go into a limp mode. But this wasn't normal limp mode as the car wouldn't rev nor would it make any boost(EPC light also came on).
I thought it could have been 2 possible causes. 1. The Injection point on the water inj set could have been set too low and pumping in too much water for the amount Revs. 2. MAF, It was pissing it down with rain and the filter was sucking in water through the vent, there was a tiny amount of water on the inside of the MAF so i turned the water injection off the car still wasn't right it felf really sluggish and felt like it was misfiring. I pulled over and the revs were all over the place - no constant idle.
Once i turning it off and left it for a few mins it was ok but still felt like it was missing.
Codes are:
17463 ?? Could find this one anywhere?
17950 - ThrottleActuation Potentiometer Range/performamce
17579 - trottle Actuation Potentiometer Sign.2 range/performance
17953 - throttle Pos. Control mal function
Has anyone got any idea what is up?
cheers
Barry
