Finally had the new clutch put in and I went for a standard setup as I was advised to and it will be ok for stage 2map if the numbers add up correct. I know most will say I should have gone PUK instead of LUK but I read the a PUK requires a the pressure plate to Match and other bits that would of been an extra £500 on the existing parts.
The good side of having the clutch done is.
Smooth gear changing, gearbox feels fresh!
Less wining coming off the pedal.
Lighter clutch pedal! Wow it's the first thing I noticed when I picked up the car.
No issues with not going into gear.
No grinding noises or drops from being hesitant to go and Gear.
So all in all its like a new car. Now just need to sort out the boost issue of 5psi, that's for another thread. Enjoy the pics.
