Well it never rains but it pours!! :D

Noticed the car not handling as well of late but have been too busy to check it out. Had a look over the tires tonight and all seemed fine on first inspection. After looking a little harder at the front right tire I noticed the inside of the tire was completely bald! I took it down to a tire place for a quote and he said that would be my front bushes. (Had the tracking done about a month ago and has been spot on).

So I need New cupra front bushes. How much do you think this will cost for them fitted. Is it big job?

I also need new tires. Was going to go from some T1-R's for £78.32 fitted. Is there anywhere cheaper or any better options for the price. I'm really skint at the moment and could do without this.

The front bushes would cost £180 around my area. Me and my mate did them there not mega hard once you know what your doing and have the tool made up.

Try http://www.blackcircles.com/ for tyres i got my T1R's from there and i found them the cheapest getting the tyres and fitting from there, Compared to buying them online and getting a tyre place to fit them.

Also try http://www.camskill.co.uk

The compressor is £700 and fitting by seat is £250 then the regass is £50 (from seat). so £1000 if done by seat.

Unfortunatley I know the costs as my compressor has gone. It should have been covererd by the aftermarket warrenty - but guess what?

Im going to see how much my independant garage can do it for - it is about 3hrs labour + regass.

I have found this site for a compressor though, which has them for about £300, which is better.

Im trying to workout whether aircon is worth the money?

Hope this helps.

Mines only coverd if its a sudden mechanical stoppage, not wear and tear. To ascertain this they want me to have the compressor removed and sent to an 'independernt' specialist for analysis. I have to pay for the labour if its not covered by the warrenty, so im trying to workout if its worth the gamble?

1k for air con! Sack that i'll open the windows. The only way i'm fixing this is to go down the £300 compressor route. Even that is expensive. Its annoying because I could be putting that money towards something much better... like coilovers :D

Thats what im thinking of doing. Its just a little anoying on the moterway with the windows down. Im still going to have a look around for cheap compressors, and if I can find on I think I can afford, ill get my local garage to take the old compressor off so the warrenty company can diagnose it. that way I might get a free compressor, and if not I havent wasted the dismanteling costs.
