Need a roof rack/bars

Looking for a roof rack for my car as need move some stuff. wheres the best place to get one, halfruads dont do it.

any suggestions? dont want to pay a arm or leg either for it.

Halfrauds sell the thule kit, but not from stock normally, is is expensive tho, tryed the generic e auction sites? Lol

Thule 406-1 is the code you want, I googled it and picked the cheapest site. I picked mine up about 6 months ago for £94, but they were the last in stock. I also just sold them with my car.

tried online but none listed for my car on their site, went in guy at couunter was more confused thant me

some compnay recommened me one but it uses the door sides not factory locking flaps on roof.
one compnay say they discontinued thule for my model.

oh yeh some company said it was thule 409-1 but they discontinued it. hmm £96 is abit dear for just roof bars, think i seen yours with bars on. looks good do you have any pics of them ?

Without the fairing they whistled like mad. Feel sorry for the guy who bought the car, having to drive all the way across the country with them on.

is fairing a optional in the kit?makes look much better with it

Fairing can only be bought in the US. I bought mine off ebay.com, they're as expensive as the bars though. As they can't be bought new in the UK you can sell them on for a profit when you do want to get rid though.

These cars are quite old now. They went out of production 10 years ago!

wow what material is fairing made out from, do need racks asap but the gairing improves stances of car alot. are all thule fairing the same or does have to be for 406-1 kit?

Plastic. Bit of a rip off, but as I said, profit can be made over here. The fairings are universal for all Thule bars, they come with connections for the standard bars or aero bars, you just need to make sure you get the right width for the car. I think I got 38", just need to measure the width of the roof.

been shopping around supplier and they saying thule themself now have discontinued the 406-1

halfords sell 406-1 but its special one pack what ever that means,

the catch is they have order it so it arrive next week but it can backfire saying they cant get due thue no longer do it even though halford system is allowing to proccess order.

Scrapping the idea now, as thule discontinued 406-1 kit awhile back...
