So is that £100 or £60?
I'm picking up my 2nd hand leon tomorrow, and its only got one key so I need a spare.
Range a couple of dealers and both quoted £107 for a new key, programmed to the car.
What the cheapest method to get a spare key? Doesnt have to be remote and I'm fine with buying off ebay etc...

Saw you coming a mile off didn't they?dunno if your still after this but... my spare and the buttons had lost their programming so took it to seat and was £90 to reprogramme the frequency and the spare..
Did you drive it to the dealers?yea it was an imobilliser reprogramme....
how would i programme it myself?
aii!
my spare wouldnt start the car but my main one with buttons would, but the buttons didnt work...
im looking at getting a flip key (should my 05 fr have had one ??)
seat want 90 quid for key and 80 to programme.... can i do it my self ??
So one of them didn't need immobilser transponder recoding, and the other could have been paired by you on the drive way.
£90 for less than 10 mins work........
Wish i was earning £540 an hour
