Nasty Chip On LCR Spoiler!

Hi,

I picked my car up on Tuesday and I've just noticed a nasty chip on the spoiler where a bit of paint has come off. I'm due to take the car into LC Charles on the 29th to have the Sat Nav unit fixed. What do you think I should say about the chip?? I can't imagine its been done while I've had the car but I'm a little concerned it might get worse or rust...

Its plastic, so it won't rust.

I might've been from the aerial, check the aerial mast and see if thats the culprit.

They'll claim innocence on it, you've had the car longer than they had it. If it was my car, I'd use a touch up stick on it, which is about £6 from the parts department. The dealer will probably call in their smart repairers and quote £30-50 to fix it.

I'm really gutted as I only picked it up on Tuesday ...

Do you think someone might have done this or is it most likely a chip of some sort!?

As long as it doesn't rust I will feel a little better...I might ask Seat to do something...I'm not sure if they will though

Did you get it from a dealer? If so and you only picked it up on Tuesday why not take it back and say 'oh I didn't notice it until now, but look at this.....' and see if they are willing to help you out

I bought it from LC Charles last Tuesday! It's definitely not the aerial as it doesnt reach that far!

Just hope some little scroat has done this. I'm sure if that had they would have made a better job of it

The paint also looks slightly lifted which seems a little odd
