...found this on the floor next to the clutch pedal today:

Any ideas what its come off? Looks like some sort of clip.....:shrug:

oh i cant wait to find out the answer for this, i have the very same part sat in my foot well, i found it near to my clutch pedal the other day too. strange

Its probably just an extra part.....toss it!!!!

No for real though, i think its one of the clip things that holds that piece of plastic in place under the dash where the pedals are.

This is just an educated guess so dont hold me against it :think:

I would say it is one of the clips that hold the little trim on at your right knee. The trim covering the eobd connecter. i may be wrong but it looks that way.

Had the car just been in for service?? then it could have been to do with the OBD cover - [always check the underside engine covers after a service, you would be amazed how many hang down after a trip to the stealers!! or have some of the screws missing]

Ohh ! Can we play that game again ,with other bits that have fallen off. Please no jack covers thats too obvious.

Yes definitely one of the clips from the obd port cover, last time mine was in for work one of the clips was lying behind the obd port loose and rattling, when I prised off the cover to retrieve it, the other pinged off up into the fuse box!! I didn't want to start the car in case it was shorting something but couldn't find it. Eventually got it buried behind the trim housing the bonnet release. Moral of the story, watch what your doing with the clips. And yes do check everything cause the dealers ain't that good a doing everything up again.
