Needs connecting so the multiplug is pointing to the floor as above.

The end that is pointing to the ground in Forbez pic 2 posts up needs to go into tip.

Hope that helps.

No not yet, been skint as had to buy a new PC and got some new wheels.

Think I'll get the same boost gauge as you and get the oil temp gauge next month when pay day arrives.
Was looking at one of your other threads with under bonnet pics, does the boost gauge still have a vac pipe running to it or is it just wiring, as it looked like there was a vac pipe leading off from the servo pipe to cab area.

just wiring going into the gauge, which is nice, cos it difficult enough to get that through! theres a sender sat just under the wing where the vac hose goes.

noticed you've got rid of the n249, you done away with the electrical bit too???

Yeh got rid of it a while ago.
No the electrical part is still there just flipped upside down and used to cable tie vac hosing too.
You can just see it in my previous pic to left of charge pipe.

Probably not as its not really in the way so not sure if wiring up some resistors etc is worth it as they still need putting somewhwere, if i wanted to tidy it up some more i'd prob just extend wiring and place them out of sight.

Gettin rid of the SAI and pump sounds like a good idea would make oil + filter changes so much easier.

yeah sure would make things easier, i always forget to put the electrical plug back on pump when i've changed mine! lol. clearly not needed cos i must have run it for 10k without noticing it. lol
