I'm thinking of upgradeing my N75 valve and would like to know what one you lot would reccomend, 'J' or 'race'.
My cupra only had a stage1 p-torque map and will have a green pannel filter by then.

So will it cause any problems as my car was mapped without one? N75J or N75race?

I've read the same thing, but some people rave about the race valve. I might have to drop Will at p-torque a quick pm.

Update...... it’s made some difference actually, does seem smoother and not as hesitant.

I'd say it like fitting the 007p DV - there’s something different but can't quite put my finger on it.

Another point is that when I used to change gear at low revs before the turbo had full spooled up, there was a "cough" from the engine to say " I didn't like that" and you could hear the flexing of the whole exhaust system, this has now disappeared.

No complaints here!!

I've just fitted my N75J. I took it for a quick spin and it seems a little smoother lower down the revs. I'll see how it goes later when I go for a longer drive.

Think I'll keep my N75F with me just in case of any problems :)

Right then mate lisen here, DONT bother with a different n75 as its all controled by the map ie my standard n75 can be told to open at any psi and fitting one that opens at a different psi to what your map asks for WILL only lead to problems.... Its a mugs game mate and folk who do it are only suckered into what the boost spike says and it WILL fook your turbo up ... end of story.

So most of the MK3 owner had better watch out..?

My map asks for a spike of 1.3bar tailing off to 1bar constant, which I get. With the new N75 valve, does the same thing spikes at 1.3bar....... but last that little bit and I mean "little" bit longer before it tails off back to the maps request of 1 bar.

As Kriso says seems a little smoother lower down the revs and not as jerky.

N75 valve only controls the wastegate opening and closing. Just leaves it open that bit longer than usual.

Also My maps graph has smoothed out more than the bumpy one here....http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showpost.php?p=1784654&postcount=17

And Revo stage 2 requests about 1.5bar or more boost spike.... then I think I'm still within the limit of my turbo.
If it does go BANG then it's more of an excuse to the girlfriend to get an IHI.

I've put my N75F back on now. Not too sure about the N75J, it just doesn't feel right. Seems to have flat spots from about 3500rpm upwards. Not sure if this is surging or not.
