I'm happy with mine, doesn't seem much different to the J to me reallly.

but if i was spiking at 20 and only hold 10-12, i think I'd be swapping to a J

maybe mine's working better because i had it mapped to a J

well ive been in contact with the people i got my h from of ebay because i was starting to think the valve itself eas faulty this is what has been said to me

David,

We get this request a lot and have taken returns in the past but the valve never seems to be faulty. A replacement valve will not solve the issue.

The H valve will only working properly if you are using high boost levels, if this is happening, you may need the N75-J valve which is an upgrade to the F valve. The H valve is an upgrade to the J valve.

I own a VW Golf 1.8T 25th Anniversary. The car is mapped and I put an N75-H valve on, it did work but then I experienced similar problems to yourself. I then tried the J valve and that solved the problem.

Can I ask what remap you are running?

If you would like a J valve, just let me know and we can see what we can do for you.

Kind regards
Andy

saw a link to vagparts for a j valve do u know wot it is?

so is there a difference between the j valve and the race valve?

The 'J' is an upgrade to the standard valve and the 'H' is an upgrade to the 'J' valve. I think?

ive just asked the bloke about a J causeing limp mode because every one seems to think it dos and this is what he said

No mate, a J valve is used to oversome the usual limp mode that may occur with the F valve. You will not get limp mode with either the J or the H valve.

People use the H valve instead of the J valve as it holds a lot more boost and can give an extra 2-3psi but is only worth it when running very high boost.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards
Andy

Well thats not 100% true is it as we know if you fit the J valve it can cause boost issues and limp mode. People have experience of it on here.
