N75 Connection

Would it cause a problem to move the boost side of the N75 connection. Currently, as you lot now the connection is to the charge pipe, could this be moved down to the inlet manifold? I'm thinking of using the same size connection on the TB or does it have to be after the turbo pre-TB?

Just thinking about redoing my FMIC pipework if you want to know why i'm asking the question.

I was thinkin the same dave, but if theres a pressure drop say, within the fmic core would this connection not pick up on it and change the wastegate duty accordingly... :confused:

Yes (I'm no expert) but compare that to changing your boost settings using your SPS3. I would have thought the N75 reacts purely to a change in pressure difference rather than to settings on your map. :shrug:

Thanks dave, i'll have a go to see what its like, easy enough to change over if its causing a problem.

Would help with the connections and general tidying up of the bay and my new planned fmic pipework.

Yeah thats the same one hooch. Would be nice to use it other wise i'll have to get a connection sorted on the new pipework.

I'd have thought the pressure it would read at the manifold would be more accurate than the pressure it's reading in the charge pipe. :shrug:

N75 does'nt "read" anything tho does it.

It will be a lower pressure to bleed from throttle body side (before t'body not after) after pumping losses and IC losses are taken into account.
Its an electronic bleed valve.

So would it make any difference if the available pressure to power it is slightly lower?

N75 bleeds out air from the high pressure side to the low pressure side (intake) so what gets to the actuator is still 5/6psi + the N75 leaked bit which went down the intake.

N75 duty cycle will be different but I dont know by what amount as the post FMIC will be lower pressure than pre as std
