Hi guys, pretty new to the whole detailing part, but I do love spending the time with my car.

Just bought a Karcher pressure washer, wondering what I need to get to be able to snow foam the car, and also what people would recommend by way of snow foam?

Seen this: clickity on the Halfrauds website, is that the right attachment?

Cheers,
Squirrel.

What you needed is a snowfoam lance as the that one from halfrauds won't be suitable, have a look on juiceydetailing as they sell the lances and also have a 15% discount on prices. I use valet pro ph neutral snowfoam as it has cracking cleaning but also lsp safe

Hello , a few people are moving away from snow foam, and use for instance Valet Pro Citrus Pre Wash, mix it 10-1 or 8-1 spray on your vehicle with pump sprayer leave it to soak for a while then PW off, just about touchless clean. I have a gun and have spent a fortune on snow foams but dont bother with it now.
If you go on Detailing World and join up I think their is a group buy for a Autobrite Snow foam gun they seem very popular and good quality. Also DW is full of detailing info to help you.

Is the pre-wash method now a new fad and people are jumping on the bandwagon because it's different? Or is it actually better?

Because the hand-washers around the corner from me have been doing this for years. And I must say the results are really good. We used to have our car done there at least 2x a month and the car came out really nice.

Just if you've got waxes/sealants/glazes....they shall be no more afterwards :)

The pre Wash with Valet Pro Citrus Pre Cleaner for instance should not not affect your Wax or sealants.
Some "Detailers" are moving more towards the citrus pre cleaners from snow foam for ease of use and better results in my opinion.
I have used most of the "Snowfoams" and was never very impressd with any of them bar the Bilt Hamber one.
All you need for the Pre Wash is a cheap Hand pump sprayer, some cleaner, a pressure washer preferably and away you go.

Ah. Good stuff.
I'll be going down this route then. Although it doesn't look as cool as snowfoam :D
But this seems so much easier

Snowfoam is worth it for the fun factor for sure ,especially as you get Bright Red and other colours of foam.

I did order some Red Foam last year and it never arrived ,phoned the company and they told me its been damaged in transit, so I changed the order , when the new order arrived
The delivery man had a scowl on his face, I asked whats up, your last parcel it burst in the depot ,as he showed me his Bright red Boots he was showered in it. You couldnt have wrote the script.
