The dumpvalve below is what was fitted to my car when I bought it, have tried to identify what make it is but it has no manufacturers logo or branding on it anywhere.

Does anybody know what dumpvalve it is.

Its anodised red aluminium pic doesn't show it too well.

Yeh was thinking of getting a forge one soon anyway, but just curious as too what make it is.

Is it working properly? If so, why change it? What benefit do you think you will gain form changing it?

It is chattering slightly when letting off throttle (like original plastic bosch ones do when there starting to go tits up), which it didn't do when i bought the car, also wanting a remap in the future so it would be a weak point. May also be losing boost although no fault codes too suggest it is.

Just with not knowing what make it is i don't know how good it is quality wise and whether it will take an increase in boost pressure or whether i can get a service kit for it. Hence a change to a forge item is gonna be done soon.

The standard dv does not like the higher boost of remapped engines.

The standard dv is sometimes unable to hold the remapped boost pressure and when it lets go you hit limp mode
