£7k tops perhaps? Might be worth stripping off the mods though, as you wont get any extra value for them when sold with the car, but you will make more money by removing them and selling separately.

Always the way. Best thing to do is check the likes of AutoTrader and Pistonheads and see what value other LC's with the same mileage are going for.

Mod's really wont add to the value though, if anything they detract from it, so base your valuation on a standard car and remove the mods.

I would have agreed with Rob on the mods point, but i've sold 2 cars now for way more than similar spec'd models just because they were mod'd.

I sold a £4k pug 206 for £5k, and a £4k Focus for £4.8k - and they both were sold within 2 days of being advertised!

If the right *mug* is out there (and I reckon there are loads), you could add maybe £600+ to your asking price for the mods - remember, kids are buying these cars nowadays (unfortuneately), and some spotty 18 yr old will probably be glad to have all the extras - gives him extra bragging rights to his mates

I bought my '53 LC about 2 months ago & paid £6850 for it, had 66k on the clock tho...Was advertised for £7k, but needed tyres so talked him down some.

Hope that help in some way.

bloomin hell - you aint had it long!

I've asked similar question recently though, as looking to sell mine - people recon anywhere around 7-7.5k TBH - but be prepared to drop.
Unfortunately, it is possible to pick up (so I've seen thanks to another thread) an 01/51 LC with 40k on the clock for £3795...... which is 1/2 the price I was gonna try for mine!!!
