My White MK5 Ibiza FR TDI

Hi I'm Dean from Whitehaven in sunny cumbria!

I'm a fairly new member I have had my Ibiza since the start of November.

It's my first car that isn't Vauxhall with my last one being a 300bhp Astra VXR which looked like this...

My car is a 2010/60 Candy White FR TDI CR 140.

Standard spec was the FR usual plus:
- Panoramic roof
- Full heated leather seats with red stitching
- Climate and Cruise control
- Bluetooth
- Cupra black headlights with auto levellers and washers
- Gloss black wing mirrors

Here are some pics of the car when I bought it:

Around a week after having it I fitted some white sidelights from my VXR to match the HIDs I'm putting on. Also my private plate finally landed so put them on.

Just today I had picked the car up from the bodyshop after getting my seat sport spoiler fitted.

Decided to take some pics car is rather dirty I went to a local MTB trail on my bike.

I got the insert part of the spoiler done black as I'm planning on getting the rest of the roof done black!

what prompted the change from vauxhall?

Just something different mate wanted to try the vag stuf out haha always likes the look of these Ibizan aswell

Think you made a good choice been better with a boc/cupra tho lol

I nearly did get a white boc but the reason I got rid of the VXR was for a diesel as I'm getting a house this year so cheaper fuel/tax/insurance done it for me

That the great thing about the boc it's cheap to run and a fun little car lol

I just heard there was reliability issues with them and if a gearbox or something goes its a hefty price to fix.

My turbo went on my vxr and that was bad enough at £600 haha

I supose mine would probably be expensive to fix but hopefully shouldn't come to that.

I do line yours though just had a look at your thread very nice

Not ever had or heard of a problem with gearbox just oil use but same I have been lucky mine has been ok

And thanks mate it's not the best looking one on here but its one of the fastest

What sort of power you at? I've heard they are really tuneable engines to be fair you done much with it?

Not had it rolling road but its quick does 13.6 quarter mile runs I have done most performance mods intake remap exhaust intercooler

That's probably as fast as my old VXR then haha I done 13.4 I think it was when I done one
