been on this site a while now , thought id start myself one of theese threads,
i started off with a mk3 vw golf wich i loved but it was too old and everyday seemed to have a new problem wrong with it, this is wot put me on to the seat ibiza, they are good reliable VAG cars but they are very modern looking and seem to be able to keep up nicely with modern cars
my old mk3 golf:
firstly heres how i bought the car, it is a vreg 1.4s with 70,000 on the clock, came with aftermarket alloy wheels and cd changer in boot,
i paid £1400 for it
,,
i then drove the car as it was in theese pics for around 6months and the engine went bang,
so my friend fitted a new engine wich i sourced from a breakers yard along with loads of other new parts,
i then took it to a bodyshop and had the split in the rear bumper plastic welded and smoothed and the whole of the front and rear bumpers were resprayed and fully colour coded,
along with fitting the following:
cupra alloys,
cupra shocks with lowered springs,
cupra rear spoiler,
aero wiperblades,
GB badge number plates,
de-badged boot,
de-wipered boot
heres how it looks now
next mod will be my cupra side skirts, they are already on there way and should be with me by the end of this week, i will post up more pics soon as the skirts are on,
(they are already painted the right colour aswell)
