well, ive decided to start a thread on my car, progress has been very slow, if non existant, due to lack of funds and starting uni

i bought the car with 54,000 on the clock, it came with
ripspeed multi fitment alloys (these look disgusting and make the car shake when travelling above 60!!!)
a blue bee-sting ariel
a set of pioneer 6x9's

all this is soon to change when the money begins rolling in

First things i did, which i could do for free, were to take the side strips off and debadge the boot



when i took the strips off, it left a white line along the full length of the car, i cant seem to get rid of it, ive tried a little bit of rubbing compound, t-cut, the lot. any ideas anyone???

if its the sport,it should be a 1.6

looks like a good starting point to some tasteful mods

i'd think about some cupra alloys and lowering springs. will look nice then!

next thing i had to do was get rid of them awful wheels, after scouring ebay for ages i managed toi find these for 100 quid, so i bought them, they need 2 new tyres but i needed some wheels desperately and there in mint condition



here's another pic with them on the back of my car, need to save up for 2 tyres now!!!



IMO it looks miles better, and has halved the shaking of the car

had the car in for its 60,000 service, now im totally skint as it cost £809

will have to wait for a bit now till i can carry on with the mods!!

Got a private plate for my birthday, which im gonna get done in the legal pressed style ones from dubmeister, future mods at the top of my list are, Xcarlink for the tunes, lower it by about 40-50mm, strut braces front and back, air filter, a decent exhaust, HID kit, and tints on the back three window. lets hope i get a bit of money for crimbo

needed toothed belt change, a new cat seeing as the person i bought it off never got round to fixing it, i wondered what the rattling was!!, that cost me 280 quid, along with a new center pipe, general service, and 300 quids worth of labour!!!!!!! my arse is well and truly sore!!!
