my sick lcr

hi guys, just wondering if any one has changed a radiator on a lcr as mine is leaking!(just as the warranty runs out) and if so any chance of letting me know so i can change mine. cheers

the dealer wanted £1500 to do all the work
front discs and pads £400ish
rear discs and pads £250ish
nsr shock £150ish
front splitter £50
rad change £300ish
and brake fluid change at £100
and a few other bits

so if u guys can help would be great as im driving a c reg 1.3l nova to wrk!

Wow thats silly money! Get a quote from a specialist as it should/will be far cheaper.

£400 seems about avarage for stealler disks so best speak to badger 5 or maybe j@mes as i think he found some cheap ones.

£150 for a shock! You can have all my old set up for that! Did about 15k before i went to coooollies!

the front splitter is about £17 and fitting it is a piece of p1ss, so how they ended up at £50 is inventive. Disk and pad change seems about right, but the fluid change cost is high again.

If its out of warranty I'd find a decent VAG independent service centre in your area as they are less likely to empty your bank account. Its not a service so it wont affect your service history.

Where in the UK are you based fella as you may wnat to speak to one of the site sponsors to see how much they charge. Ive always fouind JBS and Vagtech to be one of the cheapest and also the best!

ive got two shocks from bilstein for £60 pair on my trade card through wrk.
same goes for the discs and pads(euro car parts)
just having problems with this rad. i dont know if the bumper has to come off?

im still young but growing grey quick! its like having a hoover attached to ur bank account!!!!

Take it you went to listers seat then? robbing bassssstards. There is a place in coventry that i use called autohaus that is near the rico, very very good service from them, and are porsche speacialists aswell as vag cars. may be worth a call to them. Very well priced aswell .
