Hi, thought id just put these pics on. And if anybody could answer a question...Do they make more than a 40mm lowering spring for this car?
Thanks

Adjustable coilovers would be the way forward if you want to slam it to the floor. But its a pretty expensive option.

Wheels really do suit the car, Eternal Rage used to have a 1.6 that was pretty damn low, maybe drop him a PM?

Hiya,

I am liking the piccies. Like the spoiler aswell, have you got any pics from the rear or rear quarter?

As for my car...

Yeah, mine was pretty low, and not that expensive either. I opted for a Coilover Kit with adjustable ride height. The kit was purchased from Dubmeister and was made by Weitec. It cost £350ish and cost £80 to have it fitted. I had it as low as it went and i saw a drop from standard of about 100mm all-round.... SLAMMED ;) The Rims in the piccies are 19's too, so yours will look even lower ;)

Here are some of my slammed 1.6:

I had to raise it slightly when i upgraded to a 1.8 20VT as the engine was heavier (a lot heavier), but still maintains a drop of about 80mm over 18's. I put 20mm rear spacers on aswell which improves handling and gives the appearance of it being even lower as the wheels are so close to the arch, as you can see in the pic ;) ....And No, they don't scrub ;)

Hope that helps matey. I=Even if you cant get the Weitec kit there are others that will do the job for about the same. The Mrs got some Coilovers for her Leon off Ebay for about £320 Delivered.

Good Luck with the modding. Need any more info, post it up or PM me again.
Cheers,

Chris
