My New Supersprint Cat Back

As most members who know me on this site will know, my Leon Cupra had been fitted with a rather large and somewhat chavvy powerflow back box.
(It was free so can't complain really )

This had been on my car for best part of a 18 months. I have finally got round to fitting a Supersprint Cat back sysem fitted by the wonderful JKM on Thurs!
Also had some groved 312mm front discs fitted with OMP Road & sport pads too.

Just thought I'd show it off a bit!

hello simsy, i'm the guy who bought your brothers LCR, good to see the back of that exhaust. lol . i'm currently in the market for a cat back blueflame stainless system from the group buy section. 223 quid cant be bad, let marc know his old cars alive and doing well.

Hi Jamie, glad to hear your LCR is still going strong. Marc has only just brought another Leon, this time it's a black Leon Cupra 1.8t same model as mine ( cheeky get!)
He just can't stay away from them Haha!

Yeah glad to see the back of the Powerflow! far too chavvy! I was considering the blueflame option but since i've seen the Supersprint on Pab's Leon, I just had to have one!

weve33, the Supersprint I’ve got is fitted with the non resonated muffler and sounds lovely! A nice burble emits from the pipe and does not sound too loud.

When you press the loud pedal, it sounds the nuts and I’m very impressed with it, I've just come back from Cornwall today journey was about 245 miles each way. The zorst was not too boomy when cruising but adequate enough when driving a little more rapidly!!

Performance wise, I've noticed it picks up a bit better IMO. However I've heard that Cat back systems only allow maybe 2-4 bhp improvements. If your looking for larger BHP gains you will need a turbo back system and a decat pipe for the best results.

I highly recommend it!

That's how I felt too. everybody is banging on about BF & Miltek systems.I considered the BF system, but didnt like the look of the Milteks. Pabs gave them a smashing write up and I had to go down the SS route. Very impressed. Glad you like it.

The build quality of SuperSprint exhausts is amazing. There range of "Race" systems are a must if you want a rally slag monster.

Used to have a Clio172 with a SuperSprint 70mm Pipe all the way from the Manfold, No Cat, No Middle box, and the smallest can on the back. Sounded unlike anything on the road, It wasn't a chavey sound it was that sort of bonkers race car scream.

very nice looking exhaust glad your happy with it. i personally went to blueflame and they did a full turbo back system with a 200cel sports cat for me and WOW! i instantally felt the power gain the recon a full system can give from 9-15bhp increase so i would strongly advised you to get a sports cat as they will pass on emisions but thats where the exhaust is most restricted. oh and i forgot to mention the sound amazing it roars when i go for it also burbles and quietly pops when i let off is not to loud for motorway driving o and if i get it war and really go for it it will spit two little flames on some gear changes

I went direct to Blueflame in Liverpool was a bit of a drive but they made the exhaust while i was there and fited it all in was £750 bit pricy but well worth it
