Well what a day. Been thinking about some new products for ages after much thought I seam to sway towards Poorboys or Chemical guys. I chose Poorboys for labled easy to use in sun or shade. Every step I did today was so much easier than any other products I've used before. Also first time I've ever tried to remove swirls with an abrasive. In which they have not totaly gone but I would say there about 75% better than before. Heres what I did.

1) Wheels clean with megs hot rims a bit foamy (cant see what your doing) but does the job well.
2)Pre washed with SSF and pressure washed
3)Washed using 2 buckets and AG body shampoo
4)Clayed with megs quick clay amd dryed with ultra plush terry towel
5)Washed again and dryed with poor Boys wafle weave
6)75% of swirls removed with Poorboys SSR1 and foam aplicator. Some areas repeated. As its not really that strong. (Where light scraches where).
7)Polished with Poorbiys polish. Very east to use.
8) Sealed with Poorboys EX-P Sealant for long lasting protection.
No wax was applied (no time) but I prefere durability that show shine. Maybe next time.
9)Tyres dressed with megs/

All of the products I used today I would deffo recommend even the SSR1 which I felt at time I could of done with a bit stronger. I felt I had to start with the lighest one though. These products a very east to apply and take off. Most of all I had fun.Heres a few pic lol PS Its really brought the matallic pearl effect out in my paint

Looks amazing!! Been waiting ages to do mine, clay off ebay is taking age to arrive!

Be carefull depending on what clay your using. I prefere really mild clay and dont think I will ever change, as only being a novice myself I wouldn't like to try and get rid of marring that can occur with strong clay.

do the rain drops just bead off asm you move or drive the car

By the time I got to the end of the road they car was nearly completly dry. Almost came of in one sheet. As you can see in the second pic down there are lines where there is no rain and almost dry where the beads are just sliding off. The car is still at the mo and the water is just glying off with ease

Looks realy good, but i would have recomeneded that you used the ex-p twice leaving for around 20mins after application b4 removing. But more importantly i would have finnished with poorboys nattys blue wax.

Will do. I was so tired with the SSR1 and having to basically go over the car three times. Next time it might not even need a pollish just some selant then wax
