99% of the cops are not even going to notice... if you DO get a **** hot new recruit who is going to insist on doing you over its a £60 fine.

Well worth it I think.

I have a seat badge on mine. along with honeycombe background and 3-D lettering, all of which is illigal..... but it's more likely they are going to stop me for my 50% tints all round LOL!

I have been pulleda few times for Mr.Meaners..... Best way I find to get round this kind of thing is ALWAYS carry EVERYTHING with you, MOT, insurance, drivers licence, even your V5 , along with £60 cash.... (obviously DONT leave any of this stuff in your car! ) then if the cops try to do you .... THEY, i.e. the cops that pull you, have to do ALL the paper work, rather than just write the producer, which they love to do as it means time out of YOUR day.

If you have all your stuff with you, if they want to push you for anything else THEY have to do ALL the paper work. The lazy git's usually let you off with a warning....

Always worked for me ;)

I have same plates as above except they are spaced correctly and i have 'E' euro badge on the plate instead of 'D' for germany. Look cool i think.

Brakes gave up on me on sat resultin on a little crash into a sign. Copper read my number plate through to get a pnc check follwed by "the number plate is a bit sqiggly but i dont think its illegal" and he was a sergent!

love the plates

look great

no that was as far as it went. he didnt think they were illegal. got pulled up for speedin once and he asked if i realised my plates were illegal. He said they were not that bad so he was not goin to do me. have been through checkpoints at cruises with no trouble also

I've had illegal plates for about 4 years and never had any problems (except for MOT).

I once got pulled randomly and the copper radio'd through the reg number "J, I, M...." I had to remind him that i's don't appear on numberplates! lol

bollocks to em...they'll get a mouthfull if they think theyre taking my plates home with them

iv had mine for about a month or so, but iv driven all over the country and not been pulled...hell i parked next to a police car today at Big W and iv followed numerous patrol cars and overtaken some slow buggers on the m4 and other than death stares theyve done **** all

its just not worth the hassle to them!
