hi guys,

finally reached 15 posts so I can now post some pics of my new car which i picked up at the weekend.

picked this up with 83k on the clocks with mainly Seat service history on a 53 plate for £3500 2 previous owners.

good deal?

VERY good price mate! God these cars have come down so much in 18 months! I still got another couple of years left on my loan!

thanks for all the nice comments guys. gonna have to change that forge jobbie cause the engine management light keeps coming on. not sure whats wrong with it. will replace it with an oem one.....anybody know the parts number for it?

cant remember the code, my brother cleared it on sat and it popped up again last night and its definately the split r version.

its had a cambelt change at 67k miles at an independant garage but no mention of water pump change so will get both replaced at my local garage. I'd rather play it safe and spend £200 than hundreds in repair costs if things go wrong!

can anyone provide me with the parts numbers for the parts required, its a AUQ code engine i think.
