Cheers mate, yer i think the front bumper really makes it, deffinately gives the car a meaner look.

Contemplating a remap, but dont know whether to risk getting anything done to it at the moment. Id be gutted if i got it done and it ended up putting too much wear on the engine or something and things started to go wrong.

Plus theres the worry of, should i or shouldnt i tell my insurance....

Its plenty fast for me, but i do find myself thinking ohhhh i wonder what 200bhp would feel like LOL

i would wait till about 5k to remap it let it bed in nicely and have some fun with the standard power then you will enjoy the remap more, 200 bhp is good puts you in your seat more but 241 feels fantastic :)

Hahaha, yer i bloody bet it does!!

In terms of getting a standard 1st stage 200bhp remap done, would it just be a case of them hooking a pc up and reprogramming it? or would they have to start replacing parts etc, i.e a better clutch? dont really want to start replacing parts as it attracts attention to the below \/ \/

Also worried about it invalidating my seat warrenty, would they be able to tell?

a normal remap on its own should just see 200bhp and clutch can easily take that. its the torque that will wreck the clutch but stage one remap will see about 225ft lbs im running 275ft lbs and dont see much if any slip, only the odd time if ive really pasted it, they wouldnt be able to tell if you had a remap if you went in for normal type of warrenty thing, but if your turbo went bang so some reason they might look into it a bit more than say a coil pack going. my dealers have done lots on my car and they know everyrhing ive done, really depends on your dealer

thats ok you might need to uprate the dump valve for a forge one but thats all standard bosch valve is pretty weak tbh and can go on standard car, i would wait till summer get some miles on it then have lots of grip on th road when you map it

Just been doing a few searches on here about remaps, and a common this ive noticed is people saying that the clutch slips.

Is this a problem that only applies to deisel's?

Also, if i got it done, when it come round to getting my car serviced for the first time at seats, could i just turn the Revo off?

Nice one matey, was thinking about getting soem of them, easy to fit?

Read about your motor the other day on here, sorry to hear the bad news...... fooking deers, theres a long road on the way to my misses that i always see deer just standing by the roadside. All about slowing right down for the entire stretch of that road.

yup very easy to fit. there are already rubbers on the brake and clutch pedals which are just swaps, the brake one you might have to press on with ya foot because there is a plug/bung type thing that goes through the pedal. and the accelerator pedal just slides on. but i can't remember which one you need to order. LHD or RHD? search the threads on here and it should say which one.

and yeah deer are a pain in the neck(literally lol) but i've never seen any on that particlar road and niether has anyone else:(
