Hi All,

I've had my 2004 Leon Cupra MK1 for a month now and thought about time to introduce 'the grey baron' properly. I'm based in Bradford so looking forward to meeting up around the area and hopefully further afield. -Would be nice to see other modded cars for inspiration.

The car is standard except that I've fitted a Fabia rear wiper and sorted myself a Seat flip key. I paid £5300 for her with 54k on the clock so probably paid over the odds. At the time it was hard to find an average mileage example for less though and I got a bit giddy when I saw it!

There are a few light scratches here and there that will need sorting as the previous owner didn't take great care of the paintwork, nothing too major though. Mechanically the car is excellent and runs very sweet. Having previously owned turbo diesels I am very happy with the car's performance vs fuel consumption, a nice kick from 2500revs. Happy to be back with a Seat. Having owned 4 cars in the space of 18months, my Ibiza was the only one I was really happy with.

I've got big plans for her for the future but only have the money to take it reasonably slow. Next up, some LCR 18" wheels (If anyone wants rid of some then let me know!), Customcode remap with forge DV, cambelt/waterpump change & LCR black roof lining.

Slightly concerned that doing all this work to a car with close to 55k on the clock is a waste but you only live once!
