looks great

how much did you pay for the front bumper and side strips to be done?

I like that. Wheels really suit it indeed.

except, what have you altered to the car to go stage 2? I don't see a downpipe or FMIC mentioned which imo are essential?

thats never a bad addition to the family ;)

maybe you should look a bit more into your idea of a fmic not being worth the money. I'm affraid you'll retract that statement sooner rather than later

i did not say a fmic was not worth the money..i stated i could not justify the cost of say a forge or equivelant (at the moment). i have not abandoned the idea.will see what comes up in the summer

yes it is the standard front bumper with splitter colour coded..put the side skirts on it last week.i am keeping an eye out for the cupra r bumper but they are like goldust. there are a few more pictures in my profile/albums. when the weather improves i will polish it right up, the imperial blue paint goes the way of all the other early seat paintwork (fades), but does buff up nice.

Nice car Dave, one of my mates just sold his one, he was gutted.
Take look at the MK1 section, there a post on there of a very cheap FMIC developement that would suit your set up and give you good benifits for not alot of money but a bit of time
