Been getting a bit concerned about little things with my FR lately. The ride was getting me down and i accidently marked the dash with my nail ![[:@]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/furious.gif "Furious [:@]")
(amazing but true) . On top of this i went for a meal last night with my wife and her parents. Now i drove to the restaurant and in true tradition she drove back whilst i recovered from to many red wines.
It was the first time i have sat in the passenger seat and i was really horrified with ride and to be honest my wifes constant 1st gear selection at anything below 25mph. Of course you cant say anything (checks over shoulder in case wife has come into room). It also appeared to sound like an old citroen zx or xantia with a real diesel chug. By the time we got back i real felt a bit pissed off with it.
I decided i needed to really give it a good run so it could get back into my good books. Now the weather helped as Redditch Uniteds' game was called off so i gave me a free afternoon, so i headed down towards Warwick and Henley on the country lanes.
And this is where the tide turns, there was barely any traffic and it was the best drive ever!!!! Flew along sounded sporty and the ride seemed almost perfect for the way i was driving. Just got back and have cleaned and polished it as a special treat. I'm back in love with my Leon. And the moral of the story........ Dont let women drive
