Hi all .
This is my first posting on scn and was wondering if anybody could give me any advice .

I drive a 55 plate cordoba tdi 130 ( yes i know this is the ibiza forum but i noticed that a lot more people were viewing here ) and it goes like the clappers

The car has one really annoying problem though .
When driving on the motorway it sounds like i've got the drivers window open slighty and the draught noise is quite bad

I took the cordy back to the steelers and they promptly changed the seal around the window ( under warranty) this however made no difference at all

As the cordy is really an ibiza with a massive boot i was wondering if anybody else suffers from this problem

This is my first seat in over 20 years driving and any advice would be greatly appreciated ,

many thanks ,

mark :)

Hi and welcome to the forum..

FYI it doesn't matter where you post it.. people use the "new post" button and it will show up all new posts..... so posting in the most popular section only causes mods hassle because they have to move it... lol

Could be design.. I had a MK4 Ibiza and I never noticed any noise.. but on my Civic there was loads...

Nice car, kinda reminds me of mine, hehe, the color is also great.

These cars do make some noise at highway speeds so take a ride in another and compare the noise, if yours is much worse I'd keep bugging the dealer until the problem is fixed.

the seal can be made more snug by adjusting the door up down left right! with the bolts on the hinges
