If anyone has seen my last couple posts i have just purchased my first seat, (think i have about every common fault so far), and i want it to be as shiny as possible!

On prev cars i have used one of those car shampoos/wax you put in the power washer and it does the job

I then use AG Super resin polish (occasionally) or wax or both

Wonderwheels on the alloys and then back to black or the asda/tesco equivilent

This method has suited me fine up until now, but now that i have a new toy it has to sparkle ;)

To start off i am thinking of getting:

snow foam & Lance (PH neutral)

AG High Def wax ( for occasional Use)

AG Aqua Wax ( for when i dont use the High Def Wax)

After that i may go for:

a clay bar but a bit apprhensive in case i make a mess

Tyre gel / applicator

and various other stuff that i prob dont need

What i want to know is all this stuff worth the money, esp the snow foam and AG high def wax

Is the aqua wax the best wax to compliment it

I know everyone has different preferences, especially when it comes to autoglym, so all help is appreciated

u could always go for a gilmour instead of jet wash and save money.also coli 476's is the better and cheaper option then ag hd wax.

had a quick read, clay before wax mate

also got that AG Aqua Wax. Hate it TBH! Really didn't like it. May be better in investing in some Dodo Juice or equivilant wax

also, look at the poorboys range, see if there's anything that they can offer :D

Definitely get a clay bar, it will make one of the biggest differences. Wash -> Clay -> Polish with SRP -> 2 x Wax that should last well and only need washing to keep it looking good for several months.

I was going to get the Aqua wax as an "in between" wax, ie apply the good wax and then the cheaper wax the next couple of washes, then the good one every so often

Would Aqua wax do or is there an alternitive "cheap but good" wax that anyone can recommend?

I always recommend Klasse AIO or Carlack68 same thing if your on a budget. You'll love a snow foam lance btw. Def go coll wax maybe 845 as it can be picked up cheap and ideal for the winter. :)

whichever you like. Make your own if you wish

If you use BH Auto Clay, you only need water as lube

While it's true all clays needs lube, the Bilt Hamber clays only need plain old water as the lube. So that instantly saves you a few quid, the soft one is also the dogs danglies.
