My debut post - FR TDI

So (subject to a test drive) it looks like I'll place an order in the next few weeks on a Leon FR Tdi. I've seen it in the flesh and really impressed. So I'm thinking the following extras - ipod prep, heated seats, 18's and xenon's.

However, if you have any of these maybe you can tell me if it's worth the extra outlay - i.e. does the aux in do the trick for the ipod so should I forget about the ipod prep?, are the heated seats effective or a waste of money? Are the xenon's that much better than the standard lights? Maybe you can give me some advice?

Lastly, i've narrowed down to two colours - red or grey - but which one? Does anyone have a real-life pic of a grey FR?

That my FR courtesy of Syphon taking pics just before it was prepped up, I think the silver is one of the best colours to have, it shows the lines beautifully.

As for options, the choice is down to your preferences and wallet really, I have no options on mine, and theres many new toys to play with compared to my old Leon 1.6SE

Good choice of car, i have orderd my Leon FR in Crono Yellow with Bluetooth, IPod, Convenience pack, Heated seats, Xenons and air bag disconnect. (although it is a no cost option you have to specify it.)
Possibly in the minority on here but i like the 17's and at £20 per tyre cheaper it makes sense on my 25K miles per year.

The best bit is that as they are all anti the 17's and order the upgrade we will have the more exclusive wheels

I have had my new FR for 2 weeks (1500mls) now after losing my A3 and all I can say is what wise chaps/ladies you are.

This motor is the Dogs doodahs, in fact it is the first car that I have had in 20 years that I can't fault.

I can recommend the Xenons, and the heated seats... The headlams are a great improvement on the old H7 lamps, and heated seats are great on cold mornings...
