Hi All,

Just got a Ibiza Mk3 Cupra 20VT.. got myself the shareware version of Vag-Com and a £6.50 lead from Fleabay... just got it to check the engine out before the warranty runs out... Works a treat!

Can anyone help me diagnose the following fault codes... do I need to do anything..??

I know I need to replace the DV (which I will do on Saturday)... could this be the cause... or do I need a new map sensor???.. or do I have bigger problems?

(drives fine btw.. no lights on dash etc)

Here we go :

16490 P0106 Manifold Abs.Pressure or Bar.Pressure Range/Performance

16622 P0238 Turbocharger Boost Sensor (A) Circ High Input

Thanks folks, any help mucho appriciated!!

Thanks,

Adam.

Visit site
TBH clear them and see if they reappear, they may be old ones.

As for the fault codes, check the vag com section, or search for the code.

OK... can I clear them with the shareware version?

I have a hunch that they are new though... there was one above those which was the battery (searched and found that one one so didnt include it).. I think the dealer had the cars battery disconnected while he had it...

if they do come back.. what do you think it might be?

PS.. i did search.. nothing on those particular faults on here... or google really.

hmm.. wasted N75... could that mean overboosting?

How much am I looking at for a new N75?

The Ross-Tech Site also lists : Check / Replace G71 and/or F96 - what are these?

Cheers, thanks for the help!!

Adam.

Hi All,

Just want to update this thread... so people can find an answer in the future...

It was simple... the MAP sensor was not even plugged in!!!

Popped the connector back on and took her for a drive... FECK ME is she quick now! 120 comes up very very quickly... and the fuel gauge drops quickly too if driven with a bit of gusto... almost 1/4 of a tank in about 10 miles!! (mostly flat out on dual carrage ways).. bwahahhaaa.

Chuffed now!! :) :) :)
