My car won't start

Jumped in my car this morning and it won't start. I've never had this problem before with it in 4 years of ownership.

When I turn the key all the dash lights and radio come on as normal but the engine wont turn over at all. Because all the electrics are working I wouldn't of thought it was a flat battery...

Anybody had this happen to them, or have any idea what it might be?

Thanks

Battery is most likely, followed by starter. How old is the battery, and has it been starting well up to now, with no labouring of the starter or needing multiple tries?

If the in-car electrics are working and the starter's gone suddenly dead, one possibilty is that the engine earthing strap has broken. I don't know where you'd find that, though. The engine is rubber-mounted so needs a hefty wire or metal braided strap connecting it to the body, to complete the electrical circuits.
