hi, my car reaches 90, optimum temp very quickly, i can be driving my car for 5mins or so some days and reaches this temperture. the car does not over heat and all is normal when this happens.

is this normal or something to worry about?

Does not sound like a problem unless its overheating and you say its not.
In winter my cupra takes about 12 mins to get warm, so when outside temp is 20, its going to take less than that to get to operating temp. If its bothering you fit a new thermostat they are around £14.

I find my car takes aaaages to cool down these days - checked my oil last night after it'd been sitting for over 2 hours in the garage, it was still warm! When i took off the filler cap there was still vapours coming out lol.
