for a start has anyone else had a chipped uk re-map?

i only ask as i have but my car only boosts to 10psi, i now have had 2 maf's, and 3 n75's aswell as fixing a few vac leaks,

the car runs very well and pulls strong but has no real kick considering the map is meant to take the car to around 200bhp.

since changing the above i now have no faults at all in vag-com and as i said the car runs well just under boosting i think.

ive also measured blocks 115 and 118 as found in a search, but im unsure how to read the results, im lead to belive from these results i will be able to see if the car is boosting to what the ecu is demanding, am i right? if so can someone tell me what to look for on the logs.

hope someone can help.
cheers in advance
dean.

Sounds like the mapping because if you were loosing boost it would go up to say 15psi and then drop off quickly...BUT! my car did have this fault where it wouldnt pull much boost and found that it was the injector seats in the inlet, and this didnt bring any fault up on vag com? so wouldnt really like to say.

Ring chipped uk and find out what boost it should be running with that map first tho

Also a lot of people recommend using the N75...lots of people have problems with those other than the standard ones. however like Mikey said sounds like the map thats holding it back

Block 115 shows how much boost is being requested and how much boost is actually being delivered. The actual boost should match up with the requested and follow closely.

Block 118 shows wastegate duty. Basically this means how hard the turbo is working to achieve the actual boost being delivered. You dont really want to be seeing figures any higher than 95% for too long. Block 118 also shows you intake temperatures. If the temperatures are too excessive the car will pull back parameters to a safe level i.e. timing and boost etc.

Block 020 is also a good one to log for timing retard. Ideally you dont want to be seeing CF's above 3 for too long. Might be worth posting your logs up here for us to see. Hope this helps.
