in certain circumstances, yes, but if you have a tuner near you, you could have the map turned off in the unlikely event of warranty work needing doing :)

anywhere from £250-£600, revo, apr, custom code, p-torque, amd, etc - check to see who is local and then see if you can find reviews of each map from people with the same car as yourself i'd suggest.

Cheers Danny.

I might have thought about doing this if it was my own, but just read a thread that some of the FR TDI's are knocking out up to 200bhp as standard.

I also dont think I want to spend that money when its being returned in 3 years time, plus it would surley void the insurance.....cant do anything about this either as the insurance is with the company and paid for by the company.

as far as i know you can get a 140 - i bet the 170 is fast enough as it is, do the company pay for tyres...all that torque!

Tell me about it!!!!

Company pay for all the maintenance, tax and insurance. All I have to pay for is personal diesel mileage. Cant grumble really its a mint car and fast enough too.

Had to tell the director the other day I will be ready for a new set of fronts in about another 2k - 3k!! I had a mini cooper before this and that was pretty bad on tyres too so he wasnt too worried.

The Potenza RE050's seem to wear really quickly though......its got nothing to do with my driving style.
