Hi all,

I have a completely standard Ibiza Cupra. Planning on getting it to up over 200bhp if poss. Probably gonna get a full system inc d/pipe and racs cat's, induction kit and some sort of chip or re-map. With those mods, do you think it'd be runnnig around 200bhp at the the fly or less or maybe more!?! Thing is, am a bit skint at the mo, so would it be worth just chipping it first, whilst its completely standard, or waiting til I can afford the rest?? Also, can you not just de-cat the exhaust system or do you have to get the race cat's?

Thanks very much
Steve

Yes definately! If you went for a remap (apr, revo, jabbasport) all at stage 1 you would be looking at 200bhp+, so no worries with the 200bhp barrier with all those mods mate! :p

Depends on how you like the power to be delivered. :)

This is my understanding, i'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, lol. Revo gives the biggest boost spike, lots of low down power, but runs out of puff past 4500rpm. APR is less boost, about 1 bar, but is smoother delivery. Or the latest is Custom Code, which is similar to APR, but will keep on pulling hard right to the redline! :D

Or, you could wait until you've fitted the full exhaust system etc, and get a few other bits, and have a fully custom Jabba/Custom Code remap to make the most of all the mods to get the best power. :)
