Hello
well as most of you know I am new to the world of seat so bear witrh me.

My new car last night started leaking! It seems as if the seal round the windscreen is missing a bit???? :censored: Got in it last night after some torrential rain and as i drove off (well rather quickly) my interior and dash got covered in water! When I put my hand along the cloth near the light it is soaking wet!

Has anyone else had this happen??

I love the car other than this one little incident but its just starting to bring back bad memories from my pug days

could be that the windscren hasnt got an even amount of windscreen sealer sealing the window to the car causing leaks in heavy rain! pull down headlining and pour a watering can full of water over the top of the car and get some1 to sit in the car to see where abouts the water is exactly coming from then tackle it from there!

yer could be cuasing a lot of damage that, get it sorted as soon as, but Im sure u dont plan on keeping it that way. If the stealers wont do anything you could always try something like that RAC winscreen repair thing.

She is going in to the garage tomorrow so they can do a water test?? I assume they are gonna spray water at it and see where it leaks.
Also gonna mention the fact that all 4 lights steam up really badly ( aware no this is a flaw in them most/all but dont think its right) and also the fact that the drink holder doesnt work in the cold - like where am i going to put my hot cuppa on a morning!!! I know they are all little niggles but I hate the way dealers can get away with selling rubbish and farming it off as a 'common fault' all the more reason to fix it then surely!!!

well tbh i hadnt noticed the rear ones cause the car is so minging dirty i thought it was muck, but then in the shade of the moonlight last night i had a spy and it was inside so i had a look at them all today after i got home from work and sure as christmas is coming they were all misted over.

Fingers crossed the seat dealers are less patronising than peugeot dealers.

doubt they will change all your light but they have to keep the car over night and take the lights out and run a few tests if they dont pass the test then they dont change them (this is what i was told by stealers anyway) if front onses are bad they will do them as mot failure from the condensation throwing the beam setting out!
