Much difference noticed with Full system on TDi

Just wondering whether its worth the upgrade to th full milltk system includng cat, much sound difference and much go go differnce.

Got all my cupra kit and sideskirts waitng to go on, an though this may be worthwhile as well to compliment the front mount i am fitting at the same time.

Although kerbed one of my recently anthracited wheels so had to buy anther one of them too.

Just setting the grounding for a potential hybrid turbo purchase for end of the year along with clutch, getting way to addicted to this soot blowing driving,

All I can tell you is as soon as my Miltek(with race cat) was fitted my clutch started slipping :(

It was a good job I was booked into jbs the next day for the uprated clutch :)

If you want the noise then you need a non-resonated exhaust system(I think Spaniels has this?) I went for the resonated and TBH I wish I had got the louder system now :(

When my full exhaust was fitted, my car started to overboost at high revs and go into limp mode., due to the exhaust gases getting out quicker,

A trip back to the people who remapped it and it was tweaked slightly and has never done it since,

Noise is a bit louder on idle, but when on full throttle it is a v. noticable difference.

Have you identified all the relevant Pt Nos for the front mount now? I still havent ruled out the oem look for my turbo conversion. I'd really appreciate your wisdom on the FMIC.

I have mate to an extent. But have no part numbers to hand, most of its SEAT stuff and the top seat parts man Ben has sorted me out all my bits, although a few still on back order.

Once i have the list i will try to help you out. Just you will need most of it bar a couple of pipes ie the ones that run next to the sump , and leave the seat Clips as they are £4.84 each and you need at least 10, can get these in B&Q for 25p each!!!.

i will let you know once mine is al sorted, will be the second one i have done now, first being the petrol.

Sorry for highjacking mate, but I want to make sure the cooling is sorted as part of the turbo conversion. Will your conversion be with the standard bumpers as I'm not looking at replacing mine. IIRC there was a fouling problem that needed to be overcome.

IIRC Ant will be using cupra bumpers,

if you want to keep the standard bumper, it will need trimming, or buy the Forge intercooler and you can keep the standard bumper,

use standard bumpers and trim, it is only a small amount on the rear of the bumper ( so not visible) easy peasy and as good as the forge one may be, the SEAT sport is still OE and fits perfectly and is also a lot bigger, flow rate will also be better compared to the Forge one as its a lot smoother too, Once i have done mine would be keen to compare flow rates with a forge owner.
