MPG after Re-map

Prior to getting my LC mapped it would consitently achieve 30mpg during the warmer months May- Sept and no less than 27 during the colder ones. This equates to about 360miles to a tank during warm months and 320 in the colder ones.
Since getting it mapped it has developed two issues.

The first of which is that my MPG is now down to 29 for a motorway run last week (70-80) but on comparison to the above 27 for the warmer months and 25 for the colder ones. This equates to about 320miles to a tank during warm months and 300 in the colder ones.

The second is that it was no longer possible to drive without the turbo boosting no matter how light on the throttle you were. I believe i may have cured this after reading a thread about recallibrating the throttle. - Fingers crossed.

I have spoken to the guy who mapped it but he said he has not heard of drops in MPG like this.

Just wondering what differences you all noticed after mapping.

I am not expecting this to be a fuel effecient car, but if the driving has stayed the same i would not expect the map to change the fuel consumption that much.

Im in the similer boat as you. not matter how i drive i still get sh*t mileage .
(£10 of v-power @ £1.01 = 45miles) .
but i dont think its the map.

Since the 3rd coil and 4new spark plugs went and replaced. its mpg has gone down. The car pulls better also. Any suggestions on how to increase the mpg.

Please, there must be more owners out there who have had a re-map and noticed a difference in the fuel economy either positive or negative
