My Altea doesn't have the MP3 CD player just the standard one. Anyway, I have bought off ebay a slightly damaged facia MP3 unit from an Altea and was wondering if I change the facia from my current non-mp3 version will it work with the MP3 version?

Thanks

Rob

Yes, should work ... as you only(!) have to change the panels.

It's a bit complicated though ... here's a guide in french language
=> http://ti1ca.com/q39x0a0iq-Demontage-facade-Demontage-facade-autoradio.pdf.html

Be careful with removing the unit ... you'll find out, that you not necessaraly need the extra tools to unclip the radio unit ... but if you don't want to damage anything, try asking your dealer to "unlock" the headunit for you.

When dismounting the headunit, be sure to have some cloth to protect the surfaces of the car's interior, as the unit is pretty sharp-edged.

Hope that helps for a start.

good luck ... Klaus
