i have noticed that there seems to have a been a special offer on the ibiza, where you put down so much deposit and then its so much a month for 3 years then a final payment

do they run these offers all the time? as i am looking at a new car, and its probably easier for me so save up that bit more on top of my current car and do that than go for a bank loan for an older one

do they run these offers all the time or not out of query?

That's not a deal - it's PCP finance

All manufacturers do it.

At the end of the 3 years you can either

1. Give you car back and pay no more
2. Make the final payment and keep the car
3. Part exchange for another one - anything the car's worth over the final payment goes towards a deposit on the new one.

the next ibiza should arrive in 2009, and have a similiar shape to that of a new corsa/clio due to safety regulations making a big impact on the design of new cars.

I hope VAG make the rumoured Rear engined rear wheel drive supermini, that would be worthy of all our monies.

problem is my mk2 has done 80k, and i get the feeling its going to start costing me money

plus i like the mk4, and i want one:p

I got my Fr just before December when they were doing the 25% deposit and 0% Finance over 3 years. Great deal..:) You just have to keep looking on the website/popping in to dealers or get the mailouts.

I see your from Lincoln to, which is my old hunting ground. Good look with the car.

well its going in for a service 2morrow, full service and a engine diagnostic to try and find the source of the running problems

if its expensive then its kinda a terminal decision for me as in, replace the car in the near future
