I run Infinity 6.5" components in the front and Infinity 6.5" Co-axials in the back. They'll be replaced with the standard stuff soon enough as I'm selling the car!

How did you take the front foor speakers out of your Ibiza?? I managed to get to the speakers today but could not get them out, tried with an alloy key but didn't work 
Also when I saw the speakers they only looked like 13 cm speakers. How did you get 6.5" in there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

OK so I guess toxxin that you were referring to the size of speakers that would fit in your old car? NOw that you have the MkIV have you installed new speakers in it? If so are the originals rivetted in also? What size fit in now?
I fitted a new Sony Mask last week but since then my tweeter in the passenger door will not work. The speaker below it works still. My brother who installed the stereo said I must have blown the tweeter or the crossover due to the increased power from the Sony HU. So I bought a pair of Alpine tweeters that have the crossovers included in the wiring, when I joined the wires no sound came out at all. I wouldnt imagine that a connection at the back of the HU could have came out as the mid in the door still works. Any ideas anyone? I really want my tweeters back as the sound is coming from the back of the car and sounds awful!

DJrichard, you checked to see if the ISO is plugged in properly? If not go to SEAT and let them have a look at it.

got a set of Next LS5 components in the rear, sound really good. just need to source a set for the front now!
