Mk4 Ibiza 1.4 Sport (100bhp) Induction?

Hi Guys,

Searched through forums but cannot see anything. Has anyone fitted induction kit to this car. I know they didnt make all that many of them and presumably its already tuned somewhat to get the extra bhp over the std 1.4 but is it possible and what kit do I need, oh and where the hell does it go in the plastic filled engine bay. Couldnt even identify the airbox! Fitted one to my previous car so know the basics but dont really want a universal bodge it fit.

Im thinking maybe its the same part as the 100bhp Arosa? K&N model 57-0466?

Don't know for sure, but you might find it's the same one as fitted to Polos ?
You might be more likely to find listings for the Polo. Worth a try...

I have a full green induction kit on my 1.4 16v (75ps) its sounds awesome, i have had piperx, ram air, k&n air filter over the years and i can say that green are the best for performance and sound, i have the part number if you want it!

Like Muddyboots says, it might be worth finding out it the polo one fits. Lots of polo 16v around (i have one) so there will be an induction kit for it, although not sure if it will fit. Try www.porka.net its a polo site but theres a lot on there about the 100bhp unit and tuning etc.

Only guessing but I would think the 100ps version airbox is different to the 75ps. Sounds like it has an induction kit on it already? Maybe thats how they squeezed the extra 25 horses along with a few other tricks??

Talking of airbox's, mine doesnt seem to have one. Under the engine cover somewhere it would seem!

The airbox shouldnt be, when you take the cover off look at the back of the engine the airbox is located there

to the person who ourchased the Green kit, how much was it an does it fit a 1.2 ibiza or does that have its own specific kit as well from Green?

The kit i have is only designed for the mrk 4 1.4

there are quite a few kits available for the 1.2 on it, click the "search by car" option on the main page and click the seat link on the next page, you will see them listed with prices! Let me know how you get on

it says that thee is a kit for the 1.2 which is a single cone standard indiction kit, altho the dynatwist kit says its for the 1.2 injection. im pretty sure mine isnt an injection engine, or that the ibiza comes in a 1.2 injection unless any1 would like to prove me wrong (please do).

also do the bloke with the 1.4, does it sound A LOT nicer with the green kit coz i heard the K&N sounds pretty nice too.

those green kit are for you car mate, they are year 02 onwards, and there is only 1, 1.2 engine in 02 from seat. The sound is awesome fromt the green kit, alot of ppl on here would agree that its one of the best sounding kits available, i would deffo recommend them!

I dunno what they are like for delivery, i got my kit from a local parts shop, i have the single cone one, i dunno what the dynatwist is like. I have the part number o my kit if that is anygood to you, but mine is for a 1.4 16v 75ps, its a really good kit mate, you wont be dispointed, here try this link, if it doesnt work let me know, you may need to sign up to the site to view this thread, its a review of green induction kits

na site didnt come up mate. do u think halfords could order one in for me coz last time i tried to get the K&N kit from them, their computer system an records were so old that they couldnt even order it for me. mite be the same with green? wot u think? either that or trek up to Rtec to get it

green air filter

hi, i was thinking about gettin a new air filter and have been looking at a "Green cotton" one,
the part no. is P303
and was designed for the ibiza 1.6i multipoint '93-'97......yet my car is a mk4 ibiza sport.......and so i was wondering if anybody could tell me if it would fit my car or not....thanks....

Is it the 100bhp MK4 beeza you have? If so, try searching for Polo Sport 100bhp aswell, that should open up a few more kits
